Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis pushes back on critical race theory, marxism

I'm here at the "Moms for Liberty" Summit in Tampa, Florida this weekend. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis addressed the parents in the audience and pushed back against certain teachings for young kids in school. He discussed critical race theory, gender ideology, "woke math" textbooks that go far beyond 2+2 = 4, COVID-19 vaccines for young kids, etc.

A group of teachers protested in front of the hotel as the inaugural summit was taking place. I spoke to a high school history teacher that claims to have taught Gov. DeSantis' sister when she was in high school - and who says critical race theory isn't taught in the United States in public schools.
