Forgive the weird Steam and Shadowplay visual glitches on the right side of the screen.
Thanks to Steam, I have, finally been able to get my hands on a copy of Powerslave/Exhumed. Just by watching videos, the PC version is a little different from the Saturn version which used Lobotomy's custom made Slavedriver engine, which they would later use for the Saturn Ports of Quake and Duke 3D.

I only just got the PC version, and I am excited to give this one a good playthrough. I've wanted this game for years, but as much as I am not a fan of digital download, services like Steam/Gog do make it possible to play retro games you otherwise wouldn't have played, and fixes games that are hard to get to run on even old OS systems. I have acquired Powerslave, System Shock (Which I do own in Physical form, but it's quite a process to get to run on anything Windows XP and newer), Dark Forces, Rise of the Triad, Shadow Warrior Classic (Which is a free game on Steam), Blood: Fresh Supply, and more thanks to Steam.

So as much as I am not a fan of DLC Services, they do make it convenient for easy ways to play retro games. Now, if someone could patch Deus Ex: Invisible war to run on multi-core processors, that would be nice, as even the Steam Version doesn't work right.

So far, Powerslave seems like a really solid shooter all around, but I have only played one level into it so far. I'm guessing it gets better later on. I'm just glad to finally be able to experience this game.
