Enter the Matrix (PS2) Gameplay Sample

Just in case you thought it was a modern trend to release broken, unfinished games, I give you Enter the Matrix as a case for this being a trend in gaming for as long as gaming has existed. The difference being, there were no patches to fix the bugs once the game was released. You got the whole broken, rushed game, and it was eternally broken, sealed on the disk.

If you want to know how big a deal The Matrix was in the early 2000's, just remember, this game sold over a million copies on name alone. The hype for it was huge, gracing the cover of numerous gaming magazines at the time, and getting a lot of space devoted to it inside those magazines.

Alas, however, not even the house that Earth Worm Jim built could build us a better matrix. Shiny was a very solid developer, but this game appears to be a rush job, selling to the mass market on name alone. I'm pretty sure this game still made a bunch of money, being released on the 2, GCN, and Xbox.

Not the worst game ever, but they sold this to people in this state, so maybe it should be in the qualification for one of the worst, just on it's glitchy, broken state. They got it to a playable state, and shipped it. It's playable at least, but broken.
