05-04-20. Take a few minutes out of your busy and stressful day and enjoy some of nature's beauty at its finest! This is some really nice, and up close video of a Drake (Male) wood duck from a couple of spots on our Southern Illinois homestead farm. At first he was perched on our fishing dock, then he flew up, as if to say hi to me, to a very close Pine branch right next to our home. This was the closest I have seen one yet as they are very shy of people, and any time they see us move in the house they usually take off. but this time was different... It was almost as if he saw me in the window and was displaying his beauty for me to see and of course capture some great video so that I could share it with all of you! And the audio of the quail and birds was taken from this very spot, only at a different time, but it is the same orchestra of birds that we hear near daily here on our Illinois farm. Thanks for watching please Like and share if you enjoyed it, we really appreciate that!
