NFL running back Tevin Coleman advocates for sickle cell disease awareness

New York Jets star running back Tevin Coleman is a vocal advocate for sickle cell disease (scd) awareness. Coleman and his wife Akilah are partnering with Global Blood Therapeutics and Sickle Cell Speaks to alert the public, particularly African Americans, for early and proactive care and to dispense advice for parents and children impacted by SCD on how they can live a full and thriving life.
