Welcome to this Daily Bible Study with me as we walk through John 6:1-15 | Daily Bible reading is essential to Christian maturity so let’s look at our daily Bible verse as we do this deep dive Bible study.
What is the passage saying?
-What does this mean for me?
1.) v.1-2 A large crowd followed Jesus because of the signs
-I should follow Jesus not because of the miracles but because of His love for me
2.) v.3 Jesus left the crowd to spend time with the disciples
-I should focus on going deep with people more than wide
3.) v.4-6 Jesus has compassion on the crowd- not to impress
-I should be more focused on serving than impressing
4.) v.7-9 The disciples looked to the things that they had
-I should not be to focused on my strength, talents, and resources but on God's leading and provision
5.) v.10-13 God multiplied the resources with abundance leftover
-I should trust God to provide what is needed, when I cannot provide for myself
6.) v.14-15 Jesus refused kingship and to provide for them
-I should focus on God's calling in my life
-I should not depend upon God to do what He has provided me with the strength and resources to provide myself
