Update 12 Whats Fixed Whats New // Elite Dangerous Odyssey & Horizons

A tumultuous couple of weeks for Frontier Developments concerning Elite Dangerous - a delayed Update 12.
A new update will be available from 8th June 2022 for Elite Dangerous: Odyssey, which will include a number of fixes and improvements. Downtime will begin at 9AM BST for all servers and is expected to last approximately 4 hours
Added an illegal variant of the Settlement Defence mission to provide support to criminal factions being raided by Omnipol.
The "Pre-Engineered" Frame Shift Drives obtained through recent in-game events can now have experimental effects applied.
This change also includes descriptions, tooltips, and fixes to various UI flows for many other pre-engineered modules allowing Commanders to better identify which modules are pre-engineered and if they will accept any further modification.
The development and customer support teams would like to thank everyone who waited patiently for this fix.
A shipyard terminal has been added to the on-foot areas within detention centres allowing Commanders to recall their active ship rather than being forced to take a shuttle.
When a player's bounty is claimed whilst they're on foot, their active ship will be impounded at the detention centre they're sent to.
Added the ability to access a number of UI elements whilst seated, such as the comms panel.
You can now interact with the Bartender whilst sitting at the bar (within range).
The screen attached to the Owner's Chair on the Fleet Carrier is now interactable (whilst seated) and will take the owner to the Carrier Management UI.

//What is Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous odyssey
Elite: Dangerous, Elite Dangerous Horizons and Elite dangerous Odyssey are space adventure, trading, and combat simulation video games developed and published by Frontier Developments played on PC, Mac, Playstation and Xbox and is the latest release in the Elite video game series Piloting a spaceship, the player explores a realistic 1:1 scale open world galaxy based on the real Milky Way, with the gameplay being open-ended. The game is the first in the series to attempt to feature massively multiplayer gameplay, with players; actions affecting the narrative story of the game persistent universe, while also retaining single player options. Elite Dangerous Odyssey allows the players to walk around planets , space stations and mega-ships and installations performing more FPS missions. Development of Elite Dangerous on Console has been cancelled as of 10/3/2022 with the exception of critical updates but still remains in development on PC
