There’s a tree in my property ….. Deerwood Realty and Friends…Ep. 37

Intro

Have you ever seen a tree growing through a property for sale?

Now you have….look at this house in Florida…here’s the link on Realtor.com…

Thoughts/Questions

1. According to the agent, she would have had the house sold already if the tree wasn’t there…the asking price is $899,000
2. Apparently there is an issue with getting the home insured. That’s the issue.
3. When you look at the pictures on Realtor.com, everything seems normal until you see the tree….in the kitchen….
4. How does one take care of a tree that is inside a house? Water it, I guess?
5. How does one keep the roof from leaking as the tree is going through it?
6. Would I ever advise my clients to buy a house with a tree growing through it? No. Too many things could happen that would make me look terrible.
7. This real estate agent is doing the right thing though. She got the press to pick up her listing….more eyeballs means a better chance at a sale…on realtor.com it is pending so that’s a good thing.
8. What would possess someone to think that it’s a good idea to have a tree growing in the middle of their house?
