Summertime pasta salad

Pasta salad is a delicious, cool, refreshing, easy and versatile dish. You can make it with a variety of different noodles, vegies, proteins, and use either mayo or miracle whip. You also could probably use plain yogurt instead of mayo or miracle whip. I've used low fat or non fat cottage cheese as a good alternative instead of the mayo. There are so many variations on this classic summertime dish. To make the version in this video you will need the following ingredients:

Rotini pasta(corkscrew)
1 1/2c mayo or miracle whip
Bacon pieces
2 cans of chicken breast
1 can of black olives
1 can of peas
Garlic salt
Italian seasoning
3 hard boiled eggs
Pepper stir fry(comes with onion, red, yellow, and grn pepper)
Grape tomatoes
Italian dressing

Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions on box. Drain and rinse well with cold water until pasta is cold. Transfer into a large mixing bowl. Add 1 1/2c mayo or miracle whip. Mix the mayo into the pasta well. Drain the 2 cans of chicken breast and add to pasta. Mix well. Drain the olives, cut in half, and add to pasta. Mix well. Peel and chop the hard boiled eggs and add to pasta mixing well. Drain and add the can of peas to the pasta mixing well. Add some grape tomatoes cut in half to the pasta mixing well. Sprinkle in some bacon bits and mix well. Chop up the onion and pepper mix and add to the pasta mixing well. Sprinkle some garlic salt on top, followed by some Italian seasoning to taste, mixing well. Lastly, pour some Italian dressing on top of the pasta. Mix well. Chill in the fridge for 30 mins to 1hr prior to serving. Your delicious pasta salad is ready to serve! Perfect alone or as a side dish. Enjoy!
Keep chilled at all times when not serving.
