Antique restoration, DIY farmhouse decor

Mrs. Kapper here! You never know what you will find hiding in an old barn. Maybe some future 'farmhouse decor?' With a little steel wool, you just never know! On our Western Kentucky farm, under piles of garbage, I found these beautiful original antique farm equipment gems. With some creativity, elbow grease, minwax wipe on poly, sandpaper, a coat hanger, wheat, steel wool and Flex Seal, I restored them to their original glory. Hanging on the wall of our Kentucky farmhouse cabin, it's the perfect tribute to the farm's rich history while bringing the warmth of oak, leather and wheat into the house. This is rural living at it's best and also living the dream of country living! I just love creating farmhouse decor out of 'scraps,' or forgotten history, to bring it back to life with some steel wool, and vision, to make it a 'modern day' piece of history and artwork to remember our history! Thanks for joining me, I hope you enjoyed this project, please hit the like button and consider following us for much more country living adventure! Thank you!
