Eyewitness videos showed Sri Lankan locals occupying the Prime Minister’s Office compounds on Wednesday (July 13), even as President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled to the Maldives to escape a popular uprising against an economic crisis blamed on his government's mismanagement.
