Not much to admire?

Well... I could never get into horror movies.

I guess my repulsion for sensationalism went across the board.

I guess I'm more of a Twain sort of person.

But, seeing as how our culture was decaying before our eyes, I suppose Poe, Vincent Price, and anything else that highlighted the macabre, was celebrated.

Whichever way you look at it, this guy was definitely too pop culture for me.

(You gotta love the internet. With this thing around, even casual observers can be insufferable little know-it-alls.)

(Am I old, or what.--- And yes, I remember the crying Indian!)

Even though I really don't like poetry.

Why this episode?

I can't recall if it was a joke or just a general sentiment I stumbled across, but apparently, the Cuban attribute of respecting elders seems to strike other latin groups as absurd or humorous.

Maybe it's just respecting FEMALE elders that strikes them as amusing. - If I recall correctly, I believe they DID specify "Abuelita".

So...if displaying respect for your own society is a particularly Cuban attribute...
