What STAR WARS Means To Us with Hollywood Screenwriter Kamran Pasha

Kamran Pasha and I discuss our experiences with the STAR WARS Saga and what it means to us past and present.

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Kamran Pasha migrated with his family to the United States at 3 years old.

He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and at age 4 saw his first and all-time favorite movie, The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston.

In 1996, Kamran attended Cornell Law School. Pasha graduated Dartmouth with a joint law/business degree in 2000.

Kamran briefly worked as an attorney at the New York law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film making.

His first television writing job was as a staff writer on UPN's remake of the classic series The Twilight Zone.

Pasha spent two years as a writer and co-producer on Sleeper Cell. In 2007 he signed on as a producer on NBC's Bionic Woman.

He later became a writer and producer on the NBC series Kings.

Kamran wrote his first video game Blood and Sand for 50 Cent in 2008.

Pasha wrote and directed the short film Miriam which won the Gaia Award at the Moondance International Film Festival in August 2008.

For the past 19 years, Kamran has been a Hollywood screenwriter, director, and novelist.

Kamran has also written for The CW series Nikita, Reign, and Roswell, New Mexico as well as the Disney XD animated show Tron: Uprising.
