05-16-20. Well, desperate times call for desperate measures! LOL. We've been battling another spring full of excessive rains, that just never seem to end! So, since I had 2 tractors available, one (mine) with the tiller on it and another (Phil's with the new Tar River planter on it), I thought I would make an attempt at planting soybeans to add a few more acres here on our Southern Illinois farm In Between rain showers! Since we are in hill country, the dirt drains pretty quickly as most of the water runs off of the hillsides. So, since we had a few hours of no rain, I thought I'd give this a try! Join me and Mrs. Kapper to see if I was successful with the 2 Branson tractors, the Power tiller and the Tar River planter! This all happened in the span of about an hour or so, but I think overall it was a success!
