Refurbishing and rebuild of a 60 year old amplifier

I’m refurbishing a 60 year old amplifier. The first step involves running the amplifier from a much lower wall voltage, and slowly bringing it up to full voltage. This process takes hours to days to do correctly. The voltage and current of the amplifier are carefully monitored, as old components can suddenly start to fail, and may cause serious damage.
Due to the age and brand of the unit, a correct schematic is not available. Most amplifiers of the era, used the same basic circuitry, so a close schematic can be obtained and modified. At the end of the project, I’ll draw a correct schematic for future use.
It’s first test run was performed on an equally vintage Electro-voice midway speaker. The video does not do it justice, but was fairly loud. The switches and volume controls have yet to be cleaned, so there is crackling and dropouts as I adjust the unit.
For the age of the unit, it is in excellent shape. Minimal rust on the chassis and the majority of the damage is on the knobs. The knobs show plastic deterioration due to exposure to UV rays from the sun.
