Never send a contract, until both parties agree to the terms including pricing, WHY? because then the contract has more value to the prospect and are more incline to sign the deal and start the relationship.

However, it takes a lot of self-discipline on the salesperson and closer in making sure that he/she gets the verbal agreement upfront and then watch you close more deals.
