Bird of Fire by Don Simpson

When my wife and I had boy/girl twins, our Chinese friends called it 'Dragon and Phoenix coming to earth'. I painted a phoenix for my daughter.

The Fire Bird seems distinct from the Egyptian/Greek Phoenix and the Chinese Fenghuang, but the stories all seem to be inspired by the same creature.
