So, what is this guitar I play, anyway?

The Ibanez AXS 32, customized by Steve Crisp, owner of the Guitar Shop in Santa Cruz, California, and of course, yours truly.

Steve removed the faux metal pickup guard and buffed out the original matte pastel red into a breathtaking blood red gloss. I switched out the faux metal tone and volume knobs with black vintage styled knobs, and glued on black rhinestones for the maximum output hash marks. Steve installed the black pickup rings, and created a pickup split for both neck and bridge, engaged by pulling the tone knobs in the upward position.

I replaced the original stock humbucker pickups with Saturday Night Specials by Seymour Duncan.
