Husky is the original ancient dog breed, husky name derived from its unique hoarse bark. The primitive people of northeast Siberia used the wolf-like dogs as a primitive means of transportation to pull sleds, hunt and raise reindeer, or breed them and carry them out of the frozen lands where they live in exchange for food and clothing.
