CEO of Jerel Entertainment. Media press touts Virginia for proving itself to be a true launching pad for some of music’s best and brightest artists: Missy Elliot, D’Angelo, Timbaland, and Pharrell Williams. Tonight, I am excited to present an up-and-coming R&B Recording Artist, Producer, and CEO of Jerel Entertainment, Jerel Crockett. Jerel Crocket grew up around Gospel Music. At the age of 15, he learned how to play the piano. At the age of 16, he learned the ropes of show biz on his first job at Kings Dominion, learning both pop music and dancing. He received his classical and gospel vocal training from the Richmond Boys Choir at the age of 16. He is credited for his performances for the National Anthem at the Wizards game, Motown Gospel, The Real Housewives of the Potomac, National Harbor’s MGM Casino and Resort, and collaboration with Kenny Lattimore. Jerel’s recording accomplishments in “We Go Up” and “No Pressure” received artist acclaim as #6 on the Richmond Charts.
