054: Who Should Succeed Ratcliffe?
On Tuesday, May 26th, the people of the 4th Congressional District, which includes Rockwall County, lost their US Representative, John Ratcliffe, when he was sworn in as the nation's 6th Director of National Intelligence. A bulwark of conservatism since taking office on January 3, 2015, replacing Ratcliffe is an impossibility; the best we may be able to hope for is a successor who mirrors the same commitment to conservative values along with the intestinal fortitude to stand up for the convictions of those beliefs.
Since Ratcliffe already won the Primary, Republican voters will have little influence over the name that will replace Ratcliffe's on the November ballot.
On today's show, Bunker Bob will explain how the candidate will be selected, who the potential possibilities are, which ones have the best chance of winning, and who he'd like to see on the ballot.
