How to use banana peels in the garden. Banana peels have been used for ages outside of the compost. The classic method is to wrap the banana peel around the root system of the plant. The banana peel Will then supply the plant with much needed nutrients for the future months ahead. But I’m my mind I have an apprehensive attitude to using banana peels in a garden, especially in a Canadian garden do to the decreased decomposition rate that can take place. In this video we look at the use of banana peels in the garden and why the banana peel is better off in the compost.
