Japan's Liberal Democratic Party, alongside its government coalition partner Komeito, have won enough seats to comfortably secure the two-thirds majority needed to push forward with long-debated constitutional changes, according to local media.

The LDP plan on continuing the dream of their late, former leader Shinzo Abe, including amending the war-renouncing Article 9 in regads to Japan's self-defense force as well as “Abenomics” package of economic measures that included a loose monetary policy as well as resuming operations of nuclear plants.
