Convoy Cup - Where the Ocean meets the sky I'll be Sailing

A North Sea Yacht rally from Skudeneshavn, Norway to Orkney Isles, Scotland to commemorate the Norwegians who lost their lives in WW2 convoys. Thanks to Orkney Norway Friendship Association and OIC for organising the welcoming for the sailors.

Orkney once belonged to the kingdom of Norway and was given to Scotland as a wedding dowry in 1472, and each May 17th Norway Constitution Day is celebrated outside St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall, which was built in Viking times.
