The next session where I'm quiet is much better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn4TloAluYo&list=PLPX8v0923px1YMUd4REQP0zrB_I61pV37

Halo has had an extended break from "formal" training. She has been terrified of tack due to some brutal handling. So I've worked with her for many months without putting a halter on her and am now working with her in earnest. Putting halters on and off and today we started round penning her to get her over her fears and into a better relationship with us.
She used to have abject terror, she is in the best state so far and I can see our relationship with her breaking into a workable relaxed state over the next few weeks. It's taken months of preparation, but I prefer to put in the ground work slowly, rather than to force a terrified horse. She needs to have some basic trust of her humans, otherwise it's just a muted slave master situation.
