After accidentally discovering Don Simpson while trying to do a Leslie Fish cover, I've had a go at setting another one of his works to music.

Last night was my third time doing an acoustic opening set for the Fantasy Metal festival, #Questfest, in Canberra at The Basement.

Nothing feels like 20 odd metal fans singing 'diggy hole' loudly back at you in the beer garden!

I only managed to get photos of three of the nine bands playing last night, Kazkariv from Adelaide, Scigod from Canberra and the drummer who makes the whole event possible, Karl French, from Saralisse. Other photos/pictures are from pixabay.
