Russian Operation/Invasion Enters Third Day : Heavy Gunfire Heard in Kyiv

Heavy gunfire was heard in #Kyiv during the early hours of Feb. 26, 2022, as Russia's operation/invasion of Ukraine entered its third day.

The intense clash on Saturday followed an attack on a Ukrainian army base by Russian forces overnight, with Ukrainian military saying that the assault was repelled.

Separately, the Interfax Ukraine agency said Russian soldiers were trying to capture one of the city's electricity generating stations.
