The price of Brent crude oil futures contract with May delivery on London’s ICE exchange rose by 7.67% to $113.02 per barrel on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the price of futures contract for WTI crude oil grew by 6.6% to $110.25 per barrel.

European Gas Futures Break Historic Maximum, Topping $2,226 Per 1,000 Cubic Meters.

The prices of April futures for gas in Europe are rising by almost 60% to its new historic maximum of $2,226 per one thousand cubic meters on Wednesday, according to the London-based ICE exchange.

The price of futures on the TTF index reached a historic high of $2,226 at 08.58 GMT, which is 59.4% higher than the settlement price the day before — $1,396.5 per one thousand cubic meters.
