Peat moss is used in SO MANY products gardeners use on a day to day basis. This soil additive is valuable to Canadian gardeners and gardener all over the world. Peat moss is known for its ability to deliver to retain moisture & provide an even water source for a plant. Peatmoss is know to be acidic around a 4.4 and is a great way of reducing the Ph of your soil in the garden. The other benefits of this potting soil staple is the CEC and it’s ability to ward off bacterial and fungal microbes. This is my peat pods and peat moss in general is commonly used for seed starting.

This is a list of brands that support and are apart of peat moss harvesting advocacy in Canada. This is an awesome resource for information on the Canadian peat moss industry. https://peatmoss.com/peat-moss-organisations/canadian-sphagnum-peat-moss-association/
