Naz Khan, became the voice of the Bay Area from the AM Radio station formally KEST 1450am where she hosted the show called “Naz Ki Awaaz” currently she hosts the show on (KLOK) Desi 1170am called “Dil Se Dil Tak” (From my heart to yours’) www.klok1170am.com. She had been the first RJ to host liveshow from Midnight to 9am non-stop every Friday on Desi 1170am (KLOK) and became The Nightingale of Bay Area. Additionally, Naz was the first RJ to promote Bay Area vocalists with live telephone in sync karaoke singing and also bringing them live in studio for talent promo.
She is a founder of Naz Radio and FAN Entertainment. She is very dedicated, passionate and honest about anything she does, be it acting, modeling, announcing, dancing or singing. She is the worst critic for herself.
Music had been Naz’s passion and interest since childhood. Although she had no musical background or special training she was privileged to sing with Bollywood singers like Sonuji, Vinod Rathodji in the Fiji Islands. Also performed in many different countries like Australia, Canada, Fiji and New Zealand. Naz have judged Fiji Idol show for three consecutive years and nominated to be one of the best, talented, defined & honest critic.
Naz had been a model for Ms India USA Beauty Pageant in 2005 in San Francisco and have modeled for a few Fashion shows. She has also emceed a number of Bollywood events in the Bay Area with the promoter Instant Karma.
She feels behind the mic is more fun, all characters are just in voice, less to worry about physical acting or self maintenance than behind the camera. Seeing her in the recent Shah Productions film as an Attorney Sarah in Shatterd Freedom and The Lost Dreams, you will surely be mistaken for her career in real life. Naz have acted in three Shah films, two of which are released (Shattered Freedom & The Lost Dreams), H4 The Curse yet to be released and there are some in the pipeline.
She has a look of east and west, voice of melody and heart of gold…
