Works great. Built into outdoor kitchen. Small but makes quite a bit of ice for size. When full it fills up plastic grocery bag with ice. No drain needed.
No pump needed. Very simple. Same type of cubes as ice maker on fridge inside.Way cheaper than most ice makers I was considering. Very happy with purchase.

So far so good!!! Has been plugged in and on for over a month and its amazing! This thing puts out some ice and its the good ice too. However, I do foresee having to defrost it maybe every 2 months or so.
No biggie, just turn off and put a towel inside as mentioned in previous reviews. Mine is outside in the humidity too, Louisiana!
Okay this is probably going to be the most honest and up to date review you will see for this fridge. For starters this ice maker is more on the budget side for ice makers with a built in freezer, that being said you have to baby these things for them to last.
So I’m going to go over what my overall experience is with this ice maker. First off, in my opinion I would use a water filter to prevent debris from entering the unit, this prevents the build up of chlorine.UPDATE: the fridge is now 2 years old.
I was experiencing an issue with water build up, I had water leaking into my bucket making it a solid block of ice.
What I did to fix this is I simply removed the screws holding the ice maker in and unplugged the mechanism, and sure enough water built up from defrosting it so many times.
After cleaning it, it works brand new. I HAVE READ PEOPLE THROWING THESE OUT BC THE ICE MAKER STOPS WORKING. DON’T YOU CAN BUY REPLACEMENTS AT LOWES OR HOME DEPOT FOR LESS THAN $50.00
