A PA school board meeting has been editing the meetings to remove all opposition to the board and the note is that it was edited because the material was not approved. We have to really monitor the direction of the elected school board members and the power they have over our children. The government is pushing for everyone to be equal and average. No longer is there excellence. If we don’t put the parent and child relationship back where it is supposed to be instead of the government. We entrusted the teachers to grow and build our children because that is what happened to us. At some point the teachers started grading on a curve, a start of putting everyone on the same plane. Which translates to the kids not trying to achieve the best. What's happened in the last 20 years, teachers and people in the education field became this strong block of voters, and we have had politicians look at this block of voters and altered laws and accept things to get that block of voters. When the school board is elected they are sent to a 40 hour training. They are taught to never let the parent talk and never answer a question. And they are also trained to vote unanimously and not discuss in public until all vote yes. The information that the board member has is not available to the public. A question to the board of education has to be submitted in writing, they have 30 days to answer. If you want to speak at the meetings, you register to speak the day before.
