Liberating Mariupol fighters of the "Somali" battalion greeted with flowers returning home

In Donetsk, local residents came out to meet the fighters of the "Somali battalion (батальон «Сомали»), who returned after the successful cleansing of Mariupol from Ukrainian nationalists. A column of military equipment drove into the city to the cries of "Hurrah!".

Footage of a warm meeting of the DPR fighters appeared on the Web. The video showed people waiting for the "Somali" battalion with the flags of the republic. Women gave flowers to the soldiers.

The fighters themselves admitted that they were glad to be at home.
