A two-color cat or striped cat is a cat that has white coat color combined with other colors, such as black or tabi. Two-colored cats have a variety of fur patterns, ranging from the Van pattern (a two-colored cat with one color (example: white) which is present all over except for the head and tail which has another color (example: yellow or brown)) to solid color (plain color/single color; example: black, brown, blue (grey), white, and others). Socks is a low grade bicolor cat, otherwise known as a tuxedo cat. Two-color middle class cat has white on the face, paws, throat (neck), and chest, then the rest is black, which in the United States is known as a tuxedo cat or billi cat. While the high-class two-color cat has a Van color pattern. There are many color patterns in bicolor cats, such as the "hat-and-saddle", "mask-and-coat" and "magpie" patterns. Two colors are found in many cat breeds, and are common colors in long-haired domestic cats and short-haired domestic cats.
