Today we blast through a trio of upcoming fights to then deliver an important story regarding a book that has just been released in paperback called Damage: The Untold Story of Brain Trauma in Boxing, written by noted boxing journalist and author, Tris Dixon, who focuses on Punch Drunk Syndrome, first discovered by doctors in 1928, which later became known as Dementia Pugilistica, and is referred as Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE, today also described by medical professionals as "a progressive brain condition that's thought to be caused by repeated blows to the head and repeated episodes of concussion".
