WAR BRIEFING On Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine

YURI WAR BRIEFING: Kramatorsk-Slaviansk offensive operation have begun today, symbolically, on the anniversary of the Battle of Kursk. Powerful artillery strikes everywhere on Donbass front line. Clashes already inside Krasnopolye village, the last convenient defense position for Slaviansk from the north, with the outcome not yet clear.

Apparently, Kramatorsk-Slaviansk operation will unfold under the same tactics already proven effective in Severodonetsk/Lisichansk - to make the enemy feel threatened by encirclement and abandon positions. Thus, own losses, civilian property damage and loss of life are brought to the possible minimum.

P.S. Yuri does not mention this, but on July 5, 2014 LPR militias withdrew from Slaviansk, ending a protracted defense they held there since April of 2014.

The city was overrun by the Kiev regime troops, and stayed under Ucrainian occupation until now.
