On the latest episode of The Journey Within - A Bird Hunters Diary Mark has some certain unforeseen challenges slow down the quest for the Mearns Quail. The Mearns quail has a very small range in the United States living only in souther Arizona, Souther New Mexico and some small parts of west Texas. The majority of the Mearns Quail lives in Old Mexico. Their population is dependent on grass growth from rain and grazing of livestock on their habitat.
