Hi, I'm Phil Bridges, owner of Straight Arrow Repair. Ever want to know how a repairman fixes things? Well come with me, and I'll show you how I solve problems. Let's make things better together.

Here we are going to have to loosen the strap up and I'll show you how to do that first thing you do. Is this nut on one side here? These are very unique bolts.

And I you loosening up, I just loosen it so I don't have to look like an idiot when you're watching me now I've got it. What I'd usually do is bring the nut out here to the end. Because I know I'm going to hit it with a hammer and drive it back over. Right here is a square shank, and there's square holes in this anchor.

So here I go. I'll drive it over, see how that square point right there came out of that square hole and it's already turned. So we're going to loosen it up some more. That's got to go.

"Yeah, towards me."

Okay. I'm going to loosen up further so you guys can see. So what you do is you hook.

What I normally do is wrap around and hook like they got it right there, pull my strap through that slot. I don't know if you can see, but you pull it through that slot right there, pull it tight, then you start tightening it up when you get it really close, you're going to try to line up that square with the square hole.

You might see right there is one of them, the square hold there. So the square part of this ball will end up sliding into that. You have to adjust it, push it in, hammered over, and then tighten it up so it stays there that keeps that locked in. So right now, we're loosening up so we can go up.
