Carbon Public Market is more than a 100 years old and got its name from Cebu Railroad’s coal depository. It is a market that never sleeps. If you love shopping, then this is the right place! Fruits and vegetables are fresh and cheap. Carbon Public Market is not for the faint of heart though. This is not a tourist market by any stretch, but it will be a great experience to see how the people earn their daily living.

1. Do not wear jewelry.
2. Don’t bring a lot of cash
3. If you have an expensive phone, do not flash it around.
4. Do not bring any expensive stuff

Overall, it’s not as dangerous as others say. Just take the usual precaution.
