The Allman Brothers Band and Wet Willie are going full Southern today for the Segue City Special and doing Macon, Georgia up proud too - appropriate for a Tuesday to boot. These songs were and still are indicative of true Southern Rock - well crafted, made with intensity and unlike what gets cranked out generally these days... and you can hear that with Duane Allman and Barry Oakley going after it...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
