CPAC was the major political event of the weekend, but the Wisconsin State Journal didn't publish a word about it. Trump declared he will not promote a third ("Patriot") party, because it would split the vote (and he owns the Republican Party). He won a straw poll for 2024 with 55% of the vote, where Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in second with 21% and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem third with 4%. Democrats declare that "Trump supporters" are the #1 issue facing the nation, which is no doubt because Trump moped the floor with them and they are scared that he will do it again!
