Itako is actually a derivative of Tohoku Zunko, a Vocaloid. I regularly talk about Vocaloid on Demo VD that you can check out down below. Itako is also canonized as an UTAU and in the family of Tohoku Zunko, even appearing in games such as Onigiri as a perfect addition to that game because I play it regularly off YouTube! It should also be noted that the voices in this game actually come from Tohoku Zunko's VOICEroid, otherwise known as a text-to-speech software that is sister to Vocaloid, the singing software we all know and love. Tohoku Zunko and VOICEroid is provided by AH Software, and I can confirm that THEY ARE MAKING AN ENGLISH VERSION STARTING WITH TOHOKU ZUNKO IN DEVELOPMENT AS OF 7/10/2020!! This game has helped me realize the potential things I could do with an English VOICEroid.
