Home Shop Brass Annealing Turntable

Short video of an annealing station for case neck annealing. Uses an internal variable speed cam to rotate the table. A solenoid locking indexer prevents the table from over rotating and holds the case in the correct position. The case indexes at the heating station on top of a rotating disk that spins the case as it is heated. There are rheostats on both the spinner and the table to allow timing adjustments for proper heating. The torch is mounted on a fully adjustable rack that allows movement for different size cases.
