July 2020. Join me for another fun episode of planting Milo for food plots around our Southern Illinois farm. Today I'll start with planting the waterfowl food plot, aka duck pond, by starting with using the Kawasaki Brute Force 750 ATV and ATV seeder. Then I'll run the drag over it and reassess it after that. At the same time my twin Kapper will be planting Milo food plots for deer with the 4 row Allis Chalmers planter behind the Kioti Tractor, our new Kioti RX7320, which has just been fantastic so far! Of course it wouldn't be a full video if I didn't try something that might not have been the best course of action, LOL. During the transition from the deer field plots I decided to ALSO no till some more Milo in the duck pond since I had some seed left over. I decided to take a 'short cut' and cut across the old farm pond dam which is extremely narrow. Of course once I started I could not turn back. I think I knocked a few small trees over with the planter on the short cut! But hey, overall it was a fun and very successful day on the Kapper Outdoors Illinois farm!
