The Hill's political morning show Rising, hosted by Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti is one of the fastest growing political news and commentary shows on YouTube. Over the past 12 months, the show has grown exponentially from just under 10k subscribers to over 600k subscribers as of July 2020, averaging over 1m views per day.

Rising differs from traditional media and mainstream cable news shows in that many stories are geared towards the interest of the working class instead of neoliberal coastal elites, but perhaps more interesting, the show’s co-hosts come from opposite sides of the political ideological spectrum: Krystal Ball is a progressive Democrat, and Saagar Enjeti is a populist Republican.
