Yes, I am An Uncle Tom

In this video, Mr. Watson explores a question that plagues most right-of-center African-Americans: What does it mean to be an Uncle Tom? The term, derived from the main character of an abolitionist novel called "Uncle Tom's Cabin," is a favored insult of political ideologues against African-Americans who don't agree with established narratives/principles. "Uncle Tom" has caused such consternation that it is the title of a documentary, in which black conservatives dissect & attack the term and it's chilling effect on political discourse within minority circles.

Mr. Watson, however, does NOT run from the matter and instead embraces the term fully by understanding it as it was meant, not what it's evolved to mean. Applying his typical philosophic wit to this pressing issue, he forges a path for other black libertarians and conservatives to follow in their relation to the pejorative. You cannot miss this atypical take on a not-so uncommon topic.
