Top 5 Wish Guns from Springfield Armory | .300 Blackout PDW | 6.5 Creedmoor SAINT & More

Hey, I’m Dylan from GunSpot and in this video, I’m going to be giving you my 5 wish list guns from Springfield Armory.

When I say wish list guns what I mean is: I looked at all the guns Springfield Armory currently offers and I tried to imagine what 5 guns I wish they made. Then I wrote them down and put them in a list. Now, I will say my list is in no particular order so don’t read too much into that.

Okay let’s get started

Number 1

I really like the XDM Elite OSP. I have gotten the chance to shoot it quite a bit. I love that it’s optics ready. I love the suppressor height sights and the threaded barrel. But personally, I like 5” guns. I am a big guy. I'm 6’4” and 230, So I like a full-size gun with a 5” barrel. That being said the first gun on my list would be a 5” XDM Elite OSP model. I like shooting with an optic and I like 5” barrels. I also think competition shooters would like this option as well. So that’s the first gun on my list.

Number 2

The next one would be something I would be dying to try out. The Hellcat is pretty darn close to being the perfect conceal gun. The grip texture is awesome, the stock sights are fantastic, the capacity is the best in its class and it has an optics, ready model. The one thing I would like to see in a gen 2 Hellcat is a gun with 6” in overall length and about a 3.7.” Basically A longer barrel and slide combo Hellcat OSP. I think the extra length would add to accuracy, shoot-ability. The longer sight radius would be a nice touch plus still being able to have an optic would just make it that much better. Lastly, the Hellcat is a fantastic looking gun but I think with that extended slide it’d look even better and there is no way it would hurt the performance. I would also like to see the slide and barrel combo sold as a kit that would fit on our pre-existing Hellcats. That’d be a nice touch for sure!

Number 3

This is one I would be very very excited about. I will just spit this one out and then we can talk about it. I would love to see a T Victor with a 16” barrel and a 21” barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I would love to see a T with this higher velocity round that could be used to hit long-range targets. I think there are a lot of distance shooters that would love to have the quality of the T Victor or Edge line in a 6.5 Creedmoor AR platform. I think if they make this gun and keep that beautiful flat trigger we are used to seeing on the T line up and just make it a lighter trigger, it would dominate long-distance shots.

Number 4 and 5

These two are kinda linked together so I’m just going to talk about them at the same time. Right before SHOT Show 2020, Springfield Armory announced the T Edge EVAC which is a really clean takedown AR I was very excited to see this at SHOT and I enjoyed shooting it at the range day. They also around the same time announced the T Edge PDW which is a very short five and a half inch personal defense weapon. Both of these guns look just awesome and I can’t wait to get my hands back on one. That being said I already know what I want to see in the Gen 2 lineup. These guns are both chambered in 5.56 I think the world would love to see these bad boys chambered in 300 blackout. Having the T Edge EVAC or PDW chambered in 300 blackout and if you were running a suppressor seems to me like the perfect personal defense weapon to keep in your truck.
