Canada Day 2022: Communities across the country celebrate and make important reflections

Celebrations are underway for Canada Day in the nation's capital after two years that saw Canadians marking the country's birthday at home, or virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, across the country, many people from coast to coast to coast were once again able to celebrate Canada's birthday together, while subdued events acknowledged the work that still needs to be done for Indigenous people.
