We knew that we were going to try to get some spot and live line them it was a just a case of where we wanted to go. We chose Matapeke fishing pier on Kent Island because we had always heard about it but never went there. when we went to Matapeake fishing pier on Kent Island, we were only there about an hour and half. We thought it was open 24 hours but I guess they changed it to sunrise to sunset. We caught some perch and a few spot and live lined them using barrel sinkers and circle hooks. When You live line spot it can be very effective Unfortunately especially in the summer. The Stripers usually suck them down like candy, no rock fish on this trip but we did give what we were using as bait to a family who was out there keeping fish.
