Learn all about the 5 five senses and how to use them in sentences to describe nouns in English.
Today we will learn how to use the five senses to describe some nouns.
The five senses are
What can you see? Sight
What can you feel? Touch
What can you taste? Taste
What can you hear? Hear
What can you smell? Smell

We will use these five senses to describe images in video clips. We will describe these nouns using the 5 senses. I will also talk about why some senses are bad to use when describing nouns.

1. This free feels rough. It is a pine tree. It has rough bark. It smells good.
2. This is a slide. A slide is smooth. it is smooth so that you can slide down it.
3. These are rocks. Rocks are hard. See how the waves can't hurt the rocks? The rocks are too hard.
4. This is a dog. His fur is soft. The woman is petting his soft fur. Dogs also have sharp teeth and claws.
5. This is a speaker. It is really loud. The speaker is so loud that it is vibrating and moving.
6. This is a big river. It is very quiet on this river. The man is paddling on his paddleboard on the quiet river.
7. This is honey. Honey is sticky. Really sticky. Honey tastes sweet and delicious, but it is sticky. If you touch it, your fingers will be sticky too.
8. This is a desert. A desert is a dry place. It doesn't rain much in a desert. The sand is very hot and dry.
9. These are donuts. Donuts taste delicious. Donuts have many flavors. Do you like donuts? I do. I think donuts are delicious.
10. Oh no. That's terrible. He is hurt. Getting hurt is terrible. I hope he feels better.
11. This is a beautiful beach. Look at the clear blue water. Look at the big hard rocks. Look at the smooth hot sand.
